Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. Role Purpose Corning is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to drive operational excellence across 24/7 warehouse operations. Partnering closely with supply chain and operations supervisors, you'll lead the hourly workforce, ensure shift-to-shift consistency, and own key functions including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse optimization. Primary Day-to-Day Responsibilities Adjust staffing and equipment assignments to optimize material flow and operational efficiency; manage time and attendance for accurate payroll processing Identify process bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies; lead corrective actions and implement improvements Support inventory management, shipping and receiving, warehouse optimization, and cutting operations Proactively identify and address safety concerns; maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with ISO standards Lead implementation of process and procedure changes across assigned areas Ensure all team members receive timely, role-appropriate training and development Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; or 7+ years of leadership experience in an operations environment 2+ years of warehouse experience Desired Qualifications SAP or comparable ERP system experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience using capacity models for staffing and processing planning Familiarity with ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen) This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $75,761.00 - $104,172.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
