Freight Forwarder Ocean Export (Weekends Required) Location: USA - Atlanta, 3705 Wilson Rd Division: Air & Sea Time Type: Full Time Job Area: Freight Forwarding Responsibilities Coordinate the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels. Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments. Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise. Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred; experience in ocean exports is highly desirable. Mathematical skills: ability to perform basic calculations such as costs and rates. Excellent organizational, time‑management, communication, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of ocean freight logistics, customs regulations, trade laws, and related processes. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software and systems preferred. Employment Type At‑Will Employment: employees are hired for an undefined period of time and may be terminated for any reason, or no reason at all, at any time, provided the discharge does not violate any law. (Except where state law requires just cause.) Compensation Base pay range: $21.53 – $26.91 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
