Your expertise will guide you in delivering physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Engaging collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals, you will focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for your patients. You'll also play a critical role in educating families about treatment objectives, planning for discharge, and recommending exercises that can be done at home. It's essential to meticulously document patient evaluations, treatment procedures, and progress in line with both facility protocols and regulatory standards. Additionally, participating in interdisciplinary rounds will ensure that care is coordinated and comprehensive.To meet the needs of our patients, we require candidates who have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution and possess a current state license as a Physical Therapist. Although a CPR certification is preferred, it's not mandatory. If you hold any specialized certifications—whether in geriatrics, neurology, or other areas—these would be beneficial but are not essential. Experience is highly valued, and you should be adept at addressing complex medical and mobility challenges.
