Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Bluffton, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control processes. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $16.80 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report relevant information according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and help support a welcoming retail environment in accordance with site policies.
Assist with traffic flow, store openings and closings, and coordination with store management and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
Customer Service Experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
