Veterinarian

Veterinarian Opportunity at Las Posas Veterinary Medical Center

Want to love being a veterinarian again? You became a veterinarian to solve cases, help pets, and build relationships with clients—not to race through appointments, skip lunch, and feel like every day is a sprint.

If you're looking for a hospital where you can practice great medicine with people who genuinely enjoy coming to work, then Las Posas Veterinary Medical Center is the place for you!

Our team has 172 years of combined tenure. People don't stay somewhere for decades because it's convenient. They stay because they're respected, supported, challenged, and surrounded by teammates they genuinely enjoy working with.

Since 1993, we've proudly served the pets and families of Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, and the surrounding communities. Many of our clients travel from throughout Ventura County and beyond to receive the trusted, compassionate care we've provided for over 30 years.

What Your Life Looks Like Here

• Rotating 4- and 5-day work weeks
• No Sundays
• No holidays
• A schedule that respects your time
• Dedicated doctor support (approximately one technician, one assistant, and one CSR per doctor)

Practice Great Medicine. We'll Handle the Rest. We're looking for a veterinarian who loves what they do and wants to work in a hospital that makes practicing medicine easier—not harder.

You'll:

• Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
• Practice high-quality medicine with the support you deserve.
• Work alongside experienced veterinarians who enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas.
• Grow your skills in surgery, medicine, and the areas that interest you most.
• Have a voice when it comes to patient care and the tools you need to provide it.

If you need the right equipment to provide better care, we're the kind of hospital that listens.

You're the doctor who:

• Loves explaining things to clients because you know education matters.
• Still gets excited about an interesting surgery or challenging medical case.
• Appreciates teammates who jump in before you even have to ask.
• Believes great medicine comes from great teamwork.
• Doesn't take yourself too seriously and can laugh when the day gets a little chaotic.
• Can appreciate the occasional terrible dad joke.
