About the Role

The Company is seeking a President and CEO to lead its technical institute and trade association, which has been at the forefront of the precast, prestressed concrete industry in North America since 1954. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all aspects of the organization's operations, programs, finances, and business affairs. This pivotal role involves partnering with the Board of Directors and Executive Committee to develop and execute the strategic vision, goals, and priorities of the Institute. The President and CEO will also be tasked with ensuring sound fiscal stewardship, recruiting and retaining a high-performing professional staff, and enhancing the company's reputation as a premier technical authority and trade association. Applicants for the President and CEO position at the company should have 10-15+ years of executive leadership experience, with a proven track record in organizational strategy, operations, finances, and staff management. Experience in association management or related membership-based organizations is essential, as is a strong background in working with boards of directors and diverse stakeholder groups. The role requires a visionary and collaborative executive with strong financial acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to anticipate industry trends and drive innovation. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree and/or Professional Engineer (PE) designation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who can build consensus, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional value to members, volunteers, and industry partners.
