About the Role

TrueHeritage Staffing is hiring a Commercial Carpenter for a large construction project in Fort Myers, FL.

The project is currently in the later stages of construction, so we’re looking for a well-rounded carpenter who is comfortable with a mix of general carpentry, interior build-out, and basic finish/trim work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interior wall and framing work
• Install baseboards, trim, doors, and other interior components
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials
• Complete general carpentry and construction tasks
• Perform punch-list work as the project progresses toward completion
• Read basic measurements, plans, and blueprints
• Safely operate common hand and power tools
• Assist with additional project needs as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of carpentry or construction experience
• Experience with commercial construction preferred
• Experience with both general/rough carpentry and basic trim or finish work
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to accurately measure and cut materials
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a construction team
• Reliable transportation to the Fort Myers job site

Pay: $20–$22/hour, depending on experience
