Emergency Department Clinician

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Clinician to join our Level I Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care for patients admitted and waiting in the Emergency Department (ED) for bed availability, whether in a designated area or the hallway. Flexibility is key, as clinicians may also assist in acute care areas if there are no patients being boarded, though this scenario is expected to be rare.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced ED environment.
• Assist patients waiting for bed availability and provide support in designated areas.
• Adapt to care for patients in acute care areas as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care or Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting.
• ACLS certification required.
• First-timers will be considered based on relevant experience.
• Must hold a current and valid license to practice.

Schedule

Clinicians will be required to work every other weekend and some holidays. Open to accommodating block scheduling based on availability and needs.
