The objective is to create a scalable inventory and tracking platform that provides automated expiration monitoring, renewal notifications, governance controls, reporting, and enterprise oversight capabilities. This initiative focuses on establishing a long-term framework for expiration management across multiple business use cases.Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 7+ years of enterprise application development experience to help design, develop, and implement a governed, scalable certificate and expiration management platform. This role requires strong hands-on development expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Microservices, combined with the ability to contribute to solution design, governance frameworks, inventory management capabilities, and automated tracking processes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and collaborating with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development:Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.Build scalable Microservices and RESTful APIs.Develop responsive web-based user interfaces using Angular.Design and implement database solutions using JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.Develop high-performance, secure, and reliable applications.Certificate & Expiration Management Solution:Design and develop frameworks for tracking expirations and renewals.Build centralized portal and inventory management capabilities.Implement governance, controls, and reporting around certificate and license management.Define and support automated monitoring and notification processes.Contribute to the overall architecture and scalability of the platform.SDLC & Operations:Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.Perform unit, integration, and automated testing.Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis.Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.Support releases and deployments across multiple environments.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.7+ years of professional Java development experience.Strong hands-on experience with:Java (8/11/17+)Spring BootRESTful APIsMicroservices ArchitectureAngularJPA / HibernateApache TomcatStrong understanding of:Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Design PatternsData Structures & AlgorithmsMulti-threading and ConcurrencySecure Development PracticesExperience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).Experience with Git and source control management.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes.Experience supporting applications in production environments.Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.Preferred QualificationsExperience building portal-based applications or inventory management platforms.Experience implementing governance, compliance, or operational control frameworks.Experience with certificate lifecycle management or similar tracking systems.Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates and secure communications.Experience with Ansible automation.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, or JMS.Experience with monitoring, logging, and operational support tools.
