Accounting Manager

Responsibilities Manage and oversee monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP Oversee fixed asset accounting, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions Prepare and review financial statements and management reports Ensure compliance with GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis as needed Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff Review work product, provide coaching, and promote best practices Assist in building scalable accounting processes and documentation Process Improvement & Systems Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures Partner with IT and Finance on ERP enhancements and system optimizations Business Partnership Partner with Finance, Operations, and Leadership on financial analysis and reporting Provide insight into variance drivers, trends, and financial risks Support special projects and strategic initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior experience as a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience managing month‑end close and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Public accounting or SOX experience What this role offers: High‑visibility role with exposure to leadership and strategic initiatives Opportunity to build and improve accounting processes Growth path toward Controller or Director of Accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
