OverviewAs a Product Systems Security Engineer at Lutron, you will contribute to high-stakes projects from the start. Product Systems Security Engineers at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use. Additionally, a Product Systems Security Engineer looks at the cybersecurity practices and direction itself, improving the team from the inside.There are a variety of technical areas throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as: DevSecOps, secure design lifecycleSecurity incident response Security architecture, design, and testingCertificate chainsCustomer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)Security governance, including policies and proceduresSecuring Artificial IntelligenceResponsibilitiesHelp design, test, and validate the cybersecurity of Lutron products, systems, and processesCommunicate customer and compliance security requirements to developers, team leaders, and executivesCollaborate with teams in other disciplines such as software development, sales, legal, and operationsBuild security into scalable lighting control systems used across all types of residential and commercial applicationsBe part of a dedicated team of security professionals responsible for the security initiatives of the entire Lutron organization Learn and become proficient in a wide variety of technologies such as IoT Devices, AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud, BurpSuite, Amp, and VigilesQualificationsPhD degree in Cybersecurity, or in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Systems, or Information SecurityMinimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time for inter-office collaboration, site visits, etc. You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future.
