The successful candidate will be responsible for offering risk management advice, conducting reinsurance pricing assessments, and making recommendations for optimal reinsurance program structures. This role involves developing trusted advisor relationships with clients, contributing to innovative solutions, and enhancing the company's actuarial tools and models. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years' of related experience, and a strong background in problem-solving, advanced mathematical and actuarial concepts, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, R, Power BI, and other relevant software tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with a diverse team. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position at the company should be prepared to make a significant impact by assessing client needs and providing tailored reinsurance program advice. The role requires a candidate with a strong work ethic, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a collaborative mindset. While not mandatory, membership in the Society of Actuaries (SOA) with an Associate designation or strong exam progress towards a Fellowship is desired.
