Clinical Training Educator (RN)

The RN Clinical Training Specialist trains new and current team members to support success in the delivery of quality care and services to residents. The RN Clinical Training Specialist champions the company's Mission of Residents First in Everything We Do. Position is community based. Depending on point of origin, overnight travel may be required. No on-call required.

Responsibilities include conducting training of relevant courses, collaborating with the Director of Clinical Education and Regional Directors of Clinical Services regarding the delivery and scheduling of training, providing input to the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical leadership regarding existing or proposed training curriculum, evaluating training efficacy, measuring required training compliance, utilizing effective adult learning principles, maintaining proficiency in company policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to professional development, championing hospitality and customer service delivery, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include an RN license, hold or obtain, and maintain in good standing, registered nurse license(s) in the state(s) in which training will be conducted, hold or obtain, and maintain in good standing, certifications for training on applicable state specific programs, 2-5 years of experience working as a registered nurse in a long-term setting, previous experience as a nurse trainer preferred, strong oral and written communication, and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.

Work environment includes working in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases transmitted via blood and bodily fluids and respiratory droplets, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and while performing the duties of the job, the employee will perform activities that will require lifting of objects up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
