This role will work out of our Madison, WI location.Our Altronex brand is a leading provider of control solutions for the municipal water and wastewater industries, providing custom-engineered control panels, SCADA and telemetry systems, control panel fabrication, systems integration, and field services support. Check us out at Altronex.com or SJEinc.com!The job:As our Electric Panel Builder, you will play a crucial role in constructing intricate electrical control panels that manage water movement for cities, municipalities, and residential areas within the water and wastewater industry. You will be responsible for laying out, fabricating and assembling large, complex control panels and doors. This involves installing components and wiring control panels based on a schematic diagram. For a glimpse into your daily tasks, check out this time-lapse video illustrating the step-by-step process of building a control panel: Watch Video.The skills, education, and experience you need:To succeed in this role, you must have experience with:Assembling and wiring control panels.Working with blueprints, schematics, and a bill of materials.Electrical theory and measurement skills.Light metal fabrication techniques.Using a variety of hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, punches, jig saws and crimpers.When you are considering a new job, it is normal to have a ton of questions.
