Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week, no call required

Highlights:

• 13 to 26-week assignment in a well-established Surgical Intensive Care Unit
• Critical care unit performing advanced procedures including chest tubes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and more
• Meditech documentation system utilized throughout the facility
• Exposure to IABP and CRRT preferred but not required
• Full 30-minute lunch break required; punctual shift start times expected
• Opportunities to work with a collaborative team in a major medical center

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to manage complex patient cases
• Willingness to float to other units as needed per facility policy
• MICU and MSICU background preferred
