Merchandise and Stocking Associate

$17.00 – $25.00/hour Full time | Shifts may vary Position Summary Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. From everyday needs to special occasions, members rely on you, the mini tour guide, to guide them to the right product. Your duties may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders, or helping members while stocking shelves. The role is physically demanding, fast‑paced, and varied—from unloading trucks to freezing ice‑cream. What you'll do Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; delivering guidance on self‑service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues; and promoting company products and services. Maintain safety of the facility according to company policies by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and hazardous‑material procedures, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies by zoning, stocking, arranging, and organizing merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise; identifying shrink and damage; and securing fragile merchandise. Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring proper product rotation, code‑dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise. Execute club pick‑up orders by assisting with picking and staging throughout the day. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; and adapt and learn from change.
