Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes providing direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Emergency Department and Telemetry unit. The Registered Nurse communicates with physicians regarding changes in clinical conditions, including diagnostic study results and patient symptomatology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Implement appropriate interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of EMTALA regulations and report child/adult abuse accordingly.
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred.
• BVP (MAB) training is required.
