Glenmary Free Standing Emergency Department - RN - PRN, Nights

Overview Registered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned patient regardless of age (infancy to geriatric) and is responsible for the patient’s care consistent with the Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies and procedures. The registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes, delivers quality patient care, and initiates change through active involvement in unit‑based and hospital governance councils while contributing to a healthy professional practice environment. Responsibilities Performs assessment and reassessment. Develops a plan of care using evidence‑based standards of care. Provides care consistent with policies, procedures, current evidence‑based professional standards, and Baptist Health Louisville’s nursing mission, vision, values, and model of care. Evaluates patient response to treatment. Applies critical thinking, clinical reasoning, organizational, and leadership skills. Qualifications Active Kentucky RN license.
