Position Summary The Vision Center Associate Lead is responsible for driving sales, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive culture of service and teamwork within Walmart’s Vision Center. Responsibilities Drive sales by presenting merchandise effectively, maintaining accurate competitive pricing, proper signing, and keeping inventory stocked. Budget and forecast sales while assessing economic trends and community needs. Model and guide Associates on proper CustomerMember service approaches to resolve Member issues within company guidelines. Oversee community outreach programs and encourage Associates to act as good community members. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, and conducting quality assurance reviews. Supervise and develop Associates through hiring, training, mentoring, task assignment, recognition, and promoting a culture of belonging. Provide quality eyewear service by consulting with Members/Customers, selecting appropriate products, verifying prescriptions, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment. Uphold the Company’s Open‑Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions. Coordinate job‑related activities by building stakeholder relationships, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, setting goals, measuring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities. Model integrity, ethics, and compliance, hold oneself and others accountable, and support Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company. Minimum Qualifications Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
