Responsibilities Perform essential preventative maintenance on CNC mills and lathes to minimize downtime and maximize equipment longevity. Execute post-machining finishing processes, including deburring and cleaning, to ensure every component meets rigorous quality specifications. Collaborate with senior machinists to master machine setup, changeover procedures, and production run management. Identify and resolve basic mechanical malfunctions to maintain a consistent and productive workflow. Uphold a high standard of workplace organization and safety to foster an efficient manufacturing environment. Qualifications Required Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and a demonstrated commitment to professional growth in the machining trade. Reliable work history with a proactive approach to learning complex technical tasks. Proficiency in the safe handling of various hand and power tools. High school diploma or equivalent educational background. Preferred Skills Foundational understanding of G-Code programming and logic.
