ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Smyrna, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position involves advanced skills, including ventilator/sedation management and medication titration. Our ICU unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1, and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Provide ventilator and sedation management.
• Administer medications and titrate as needed.
• Perform procedures such as trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion.
• Utilize Meditech for documentation and maintain communication boards with patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in ICU settings preferred.
