Plumbing Designer

As we continue to grow and take on new projects, we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Plumbing Designer to support our ongoing project work. About the Role This is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ. As a Plumbing Designer, you will play a key role in designing and developing plumbing systems for commercial building projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to produce accurate, high-quality construction documents and coordinated system designs. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on design work, working across disciplines, and contributing to projects from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities Design and develop plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, and storm systems Prepare construction drawings and detailed layouts using AutoCAD and Revit Perform basic system calculations and support equipment sizing and selection Coordinate with mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and architectural teams to ensure integrated designs Review and revise drawings based on project needs, feedback, and field conditions Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications Support project teams in meeting deadlines and deliverables Qualifications 5+ years of experience in plumbing design or MEP/building systems design Experience preparing construction documents and working on commercial building projects Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM experience strongly preferred) Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and design standards Experience coordinating with HVAC/mechanical systems is a plus Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience working in an MEP consulting or engineering firm Exposure to a variety of project types (commercial, mixed-use, industrial, etc.) Experience working across multiple phases of design and construction Why Join Kraemer Consulting Engineers Growing firm with strong project pipeline Opportunity for hands-on impact and visibility across projects Collaborative, team-oriented environment Exposure to a variety of building projects and systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
