Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual therapy sessions, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, focusing on anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development.

• Develop customized treatment plans that foster improvement in clients’ decision-making skills and behavioral management.

• Work collaboratively with the Child and Family Treatment Team and engage with other professional disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.

• Keep accurate and timely documentation including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies.

• Participate in ongoing staff meetings and contribute insights that help shape the direction of client care strategies.
\n
• Support in reducing high-risk behaviors in youth through effective therapeutic interventions and positive behavior support strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults struggling with various mental health issues. Your expertise will be critical in addressing challenges related to relationships, family dynamics, behavioral concerns, and mental wellness. The commitment to a holistic approach enables you to work effectively with clients from varied backgrounds and with different life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours during after-school hours (4-7 PM) is required.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-person needs.
\n
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is essential.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapeutic services, specifically in family or couples’ counseling.

• Demonstrable experience in positive behavior support and understanding at-risk youth and family dynamics is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
