Clinical Supervisor

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the administrative operations and clinical practice activities on a twenty-four hour basis; provides patient care services that are coordinated to provide a seamless, integrated system of care that is high value, cost effective and customer focused.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists department manager in operational activities of unit
• Responsible for ensuring the bedside nursing performance according to unit policy
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and responds appropriately
• Reprioritizes and delegates other responsibilities during emergency situations
• Remains calm and objective during emergencies; functions calmly and efficiently in periods of high activity
• Facilitates transfer of care to a higher level of care facility
• Keeps family/significant others informed of patients status

Minimum Requirements:

• Current NJ RN License
• 3 years nursing experience in an acute care setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Chemo certification
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop employees
• Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull

Preferred Requirements:

• BSN
• Nursing leadership experience

Salary Range - $44.75 - $60.00 hourly (Based on experience)
