Houskeeper/ Cook & Household Assistant to maintain a private residence in San Francisco to the highest standards. This role combines traditional housekeeping with household organization, light meal preparation, errands, and occasional travel support. The ideal candidate is discreet, detail-oriented, and takes genuine pride in creating a well-run, welcoming home. This position reports to the Household Manager and works collaboratively with other staff to ensure the residence operates smoothly. The successful candidate must also be comfortable working independently and managing daily household responsibilities when the Household Manager is traveling or otherwise unavailable. Housekeeping Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, and maintain all surfaces to an exceptional standard. Change bed linens and make beds daily. Launder, fold, iron, and organize clothing and household linens. Monitor and replenish household supplies proactively. Home Organization Keep closets, pantries, cabinets, and storage areas neat and consistently organized. Manage seasonal clothing rotations and the organization of household items and personal belongings. Maintain inventory of household essentials and assist with decluttering and maintaining an orderly home at all times. Light Cooking Prepare simple, healthy breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Assist with meal planning and grocery shopping. Prepare snacks and beverages for household members and guests. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen after all meal preparation. Packing and Travel Support Professionally pack and unpack luggage for business and personal travel. Organize clothing, toiletries, and travel essentials with care. Prepare travel items in accordance with itineraries and destination requirements. Errands and Household Support Handle grocery shopping and household supply purchases. Manage dry cleaning drop-off and pickup. Run post office, shipping, and courier errands as needed. Receive deliveries and coordinate service appointments as directed by the Household Manager.
