Receptionist

Receptionist / Customer Service Representative supporting a busy tax and financial planning office. Pay $18-$19 per hour. Part-time year-round, 20 hours per week Monday-Friday, with full-time hours 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday from January 15-April 15. Key Responsibilities: Greet clients and provide a warm, professional front-desk experience. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls. Schedule and manage client appointments. Distribute completed tax returns and assist clients with general front-office needs. Perform a variety of computer-based administrative projects. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other office software. Maintain accurate records and assist with general office organization. Learn and assist with investment-industry-related forms, procedures, and processes. Work independently while knowing when to ask questions or seek assistance. Provide professional and courteous service to clients at all times. Qualifications: Personable, friendly, professional demeanor. Comfortable interacting with clients in a professional office environment. Professional in dress and appearance. Strong computer skills with solid Microsoft Excel proficiency. Organized, dependable, detail-oriented. Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills. Experienced with answering phones and scheduling appointments. Comfortable learning new software, forms, and office procedures. Flexible and dependable during demanding tax season. Willing to complete fingerprinting and a background check as required for investment-industry regulations. Prior experience in a tax, accounting, financial services, or professional office environment helpful but not required. You excel at front-desk duties and client interaction.
