Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency setting, managing acute medical situations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients according to established protocols.
• Provide immediate care and treatment for a variety of medical emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document in electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
