Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:30 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:30 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:30 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:30 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to manage entry procedures, direct foot traffic, and support a professional environment for patients and medical personnel. Assist with de-escalation related interactions, provide directions and general assistance, and report maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
