Quality Control InspectorThe Quality Control Inspector ensures that automotive manufacturing products meet established industry and production standards by performing detailed inspections, identifying defects, and accurately documenting all findings and quality results.Responsibilities:Perform thorough quality control inspections on automotive components and assemblies to identify flaws, defects, and nonconformities.Verify that production output meets established industry and internal quality standards and specifications.Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to check dimensions and tolerances of parts.Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to confirm that products match required specifications.Complete quality control paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining clear records of inspections and test results.Support quality assurance activities by reporting issues, contributing to root-cause analysis, and following corrective action procedures.Collaborate with production and repair teams to communicate inspection findings and help resolve quality issues.Follow established inspection procedures and safety guidelines within the automotive manufacturing environment.Continuously monitor production processes to identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce defects.Essential Skills:At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry in any capacity.Hands-on experience with quality control inspection in a manufacturing or automotive environment.Proficiency using calipers and micrometers for precision measurement.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong attention to detail when identifying defects and verifying product quality.Ability to complete quality control paperwork and documentation accurately.Understanding of quality assurance and quality inspection principles.Basic knowledge of automotive components and automotive repair concepts.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in automotive manufacturing or automotive repair environments.Familiarity with industry quality standards and production specifications.Strong communication skills to clearly report inspection results and collaborate with production teams.Organizational skills to manage multiple inspections and maintain detailed records.Problem-solving mindset to assist with identifying causes of defects and supporting corrective actions.Why Work Here?Join a long-term, stable opportunity in an essential business with clear potential for upward mobility. You will use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers and regularly review blueprints and technical documentation while performing inspections on the shop floor.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South El Monte, CA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
