This role partners closely with internal teams and customers to resolve billing questions, monitor account balances, and reduce outstanding receivables while maintaining positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and comfortable handling sensitive financial information.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Verify and post customer receipts* Monitor and maintain current inventory levels* Assist with collection of overdue balances* Assist with creation of monthly customer invoices* Answer accounting-related questions to internal and external customers* Provide support to other Accounting/Finance staff members as necessary* Develop and communicate solutions for continuous process improvement within the job function* Other accounting duties as assignedEDUCATION* Associate’s degree in accountingEXPERIENCE:* 2+ years accounting experienceSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:* Excellent focus on attention to detail* Understanding of fundamental accounting concepts* High standard for productivity with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands* Ability to maintain the highest level of accountability, confidentiality, ethics, and integrity and to share information with resources appropriately* Utilization of effective organization and prioritization skills to complete assignments within established time frames* Ability to work independently, as well as to work cooperatively within own team and outside teams to achieve common goals* Good oral and written communication skills* Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and WordREQUIREMENTS:* Raise objects up to 25 lbs.* Remain stationary for extended periods* Ability to communicate information* Ability to operate a computerPeople are our passion.
