About the Opportunity

WorkTrux is looking for a motivated Work Truck Sales Representative to join our team in Knoxville, TN.

We are looking for someone who is driven to develop new business, build lasting customer relationships, and grow a strong book of commercial accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a salesperson who enjoys being out in the field, meeting customers, and controlling their own earning potential. Our commission plan is uncapped, so your income is directly tied to your performance.

What You'll Do

• Prospect for new commercial customers throughout Middle and East Tennessee
• Make cold calls and in-person sales visits to businesses and jobsites
• Build relationships with business owners, contractors, fleet managers, and other commercial customers
• Identify customers' work truck and equipment needs
• Recommend trucks, bodies, equipment, and upfit solutions based on each customer's application
• Prepare quotes and proposals
• Follow up consistently on open opportunities
• Build and manage an active sales pipeline
• Coordinate customer orders through the sales and delivery process
• Develop repeat and referral business
• Maintain strong relationships with customers after the sale
• Represent WorkTrux professionally in the field and in the community

What We're Looking For

• B2B or outside sales experience preferred
• An existing book of business in the commercial truck, automotive, construction, or fleet/contractor industry
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to prospect and develop new business
• Comfortable cold calling and making face-to-face sales visits
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Valid motor vehicle salesman license, driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Desire to build a long-term customer base and grow with the company
