Mechanical Build Technician — Fluid Handling Solutions

Site: Ivyland, PA (Milton Roy — 201 Ivyland Rd., Warminster, PA 18974)

Shift: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Help us deliver mission‑critical flow creation equipment that performs in the world’s toughest conditions. As part of the Williams Assembly team, you will turn drawings and bills of materials into high‑quality finished assemblies—safely, efficiently, and to exacting ISO standards.

You’re assigned a new order. You verify components against the BOM, study the blueprint, and plan your build. You stage parts, set up tools, and begin assembly—switching between precision handwork, pneumatic tools, and presses. A tube bending step calls for careful soldering, so you prepare and execute to spec. Midway, you identify a dimensional variance; you halt, perform quality checks, and coordinate a quick adjustment. After testing, the unit passes with a test PSI below 30,000, you document the result, package the product, and flag inventory needs so the next order starts on time.

• Assemble components and parts following detailed work instructions and evolving specs.
• Read and interpret bills of materials, work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Operate hand, pneumatic, and power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, presses); use cranes/hoists when appropriate.
• Perform specialized operations such as tube bending and soldering.
• Achieve production targets; collaborate to optimize cell throughput.
• Monitor and request materials; track inventory and report shortages.
• Inspect work to spec; conduct ISO‑aligned quality checks; identify defects; make/coordinate repairs; test and troubleshoot assemblies.
• Engage in training to build maintenance skills and product knowledge; attend monthly EHS training; follow all attendance and break policies.
• Champion safety: wear PPE, report hazards, practice 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), and maintain a test PSI limit no greater than 30,000.
• Lift up to 35 lbs (70 lbs team lift); maintain a clean, organized workspace.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience or experience in a fast‑paced environment.

• Lifting up to 35 lbs; use a hoist for items over 40 lbs.
• Standing up to three hours at a time.
• Stooping to access materials on pallets.
• Hand dexterity for tools, screws, gauges, and machine controls.
• Clear verbal communication with peers and supervisors.
• Carrying 40 lbs up to 25 feet.

• General computer skills (SSO login, JD Edwards, Microsoft Outlook).
• Methodical, process‑driven work style.
• Experience with hand, pneumatic, and power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, presses).
• Ability to interpret BOMs, work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings.

On‑site at Ivyland, PA with no travel.
