Production Specialist (Powder Coat) Lead - 2nd Shift *$1k Sign-On Bonus*

Overview Join Terex Utilities as a Production Specialist (Powder Coat) Lead on the 2nd Shift in Watertown, SD. This role requires a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while supporting paint production processes and team collaboration. Responsibilities Adhere to Terex safety policies and the Terex Way Values. Follow all safety regulations, including maintaining a clean work area and wearing appropriate safety attire. Follow paint production schedule to determine parts to load and visually inspect components. Load components onto the automatic conveyor paint line and support basic assembly processes. Use common hand tools, hand‑held power tools, fabricating equipment, and portable air tools such as a ratchet. Perform arithmetic calculations and record detailed measurements, counts, distances, and times. Maintain tools and equipment in working condition and troubleshoot basic issues. Maintain a clean work area and participate in 5S standards. Flex into other areas and departments as needed. Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in powder coat painting in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to pass a respirator test. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and 40–100 lbs with assistance or lifting equipment. Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and air tools. Strong orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform precise measurements. Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to be trained. Compensation & Benefits The compensation range is $21.00–$22.50 per hour. The position offers a $1,000 sign‑on bonus ($500 after 6 months and $500 after 1 year, provided the employee remains active).
