Role Description The Registered Nurse role at MADISON HEALTH AND REHABILITATION, LLC is a full-time, on-site position located in Richmond, KY. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and updating care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Daily responsibilities include documenting patient status, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and educating patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance. The nurse will follow clinical protocols, maintain infection control and safety standards, and support nursing assistants and other staff to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. This role also includes participation in shift handoffs, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development activities. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and documentation within a hospital or rehabilitation setting. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and to educate patients and families. Proficiency in using electronic health records and basic computer applications for charting and care coordination. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and respond calmly and efficiently in urgent or emergent situations. Commitment to maintaining safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards in all aspects of patient care. Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care is preferred but not required; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
