CT Technologist


Job Details:


• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with trauma experience
• Work in a 2 CT suite environment with an average daily census of around 100 patients
• Treat patient population ranging from young adults to geriatrics including general CT, stroke, and oncology patients
• Work alongside a team of 3 total CT Techs per shift with support from a Lead Tech, Transporter, Rapid Response/Code Team, and RT available 24/7
• Radiologist on site during the day and offsite reading at night
• No floating required
• Orientation includes NEO and 2-3 shifts of department orientation
• Weekend rotation dependent on requisition
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday work expected if scheduled on regular days
• Schedule created by Lead Tech with RTO approval going through manager
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, Wisconsin License
• EMR system: EPIC
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• PACS: McKesson
• Unit equipment: Cannon 80 Slice, GE 40 Slice
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional - no graphics, logos, or designs
• Free parking available in designated employee areas

This facility is a 228-bed community hospital serving as a Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center. As a teaching hospital, it provides a dynamic and educational environment for healthcare professionals. The facility operates a robust support structure including on-site radiology, rapid response teams, and respiratory therapy services available 24/7.
