Maintenance Mechanic (preferably has HDPE plastics experience) - NIGHT SHIFT

Job DescriptionJob Duties:Must pass LOTO trainingInspect all machines for proper guarding at start of shiftIdentify machine priority level at start of shiftVerify machines are running proper cycle times at start of shiftVerify material loading system is not running behind at start of shift and after every breakCheck grinders at the start of shift and after every breakCheck hydraulic oil level and temperature at the start of shiftVerify all machines are working properly and not slamming at the start of shiftPerform PMs in a timely manner and properly fill out the PM work ordersMake minor machine adjustments and/or repairs to correct Quality issuesReport all parts used immediately so replacements can be ordered in a timely mannerChangeover equipment, startup equipment, and make minor processing adjustmentsWill be responsible for recording machine issues and submitting Downtime ReportProvide assistance to Production Assistants, QAs, other Mechanics, Technicians, and EngineerRequirements:High School Diploma or GEDMust have own set of basic toolsPreferably has PLASTICS experienceAble to stand, walk, lift, reach, bend, and climb continuously during 12 hour shiftGood communication and organizational skillsCan read and work from technical manualsCan use math as applied to maintenance workCan follow written instructions with minimal supervisionForklift certifiableWork well with othersPositive moraleAble to make thoughtful well-reasoned decisionsCan pick up and move up to 50 poundsMust follow all Safety behaviors and keep a clean work spaceMust wear long sleeve shirts, pants, steel toe, ear plugs, safety glasses, hard hat, and hair netExperience in one of the following required:ElectricalPnuematicHydraulicEBM , RHB.
