Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse

In this travel role, you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to adult med-surg/telemetry patients, including comprehensive assessments, cardiac monitoring, and medication administration. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to adult med-surg/telemetry patients, including assessment, medication administration, and monitoring. Continuously interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry and vital sign trends, escalating changes promptly. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans to support safe transitions of care. Maintain infection prevention, safety, and hospital policies while delivering evidence-based practice. Float as needed within scope to similar units and adapt quickly to new environments as a travel nurse. Communicate clearly with providers, charge nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate timely care.
