Fill condiment containers, ice, and anything else needed for fast execution of meal running. Know menu, menu prices, composition of food and beverage menu items, familiarity with all daily specials and with proper plating procedures. Up‑sell/suggestively sell food and beverages by describing each item in an appealing way, when necessary. Provide courteous guest service and respond to guest requests. Be knowledgeable in POS to ring in order, if necessary. Confirm the order by repeating back and clarify any doubts, food allergies, or guest concerns before sending the order to the kitchen. Close guest checks to the appropriate form of payment and file in a safe place until end of shift. Stock supplies daily: include condiments, plates, glassware, silverware, trays, napkins, flowers, printer paper, check presenters, and pens. Clean and stock refrigerators with juices, sodas, waters, and milk.
