Luxury Senior Living Communities in Coral Gables, Kendall, Homestead & Weston is looking for a Housekeeper for its Brand New Palace at Weston, an Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care Community located at 16025 Emerald Estates Dr. Weston, FL 33331. Winner of Gallup's Great Workplace Award.

The #1 priority of this position is to maintain a clean, healthy environment for visitors and staff that promotes good mental and physical health in pleasant surroundings free of litter, germs and debris.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Cleaning apartments, public areas including restrooms, elevators, stairways, offices, pool area, changing rooms and other designated areas in & out of the building.
• Dusting all furniture, lamps, TV, pictures, window edges, blinds, and air conditioner vents.
• Polishing and scrubbing showers, sinks, mirrors and other fixtures.
• Keeping the facility clean and free of hazards at all times.
• Transporting trash to designated areas.
• Ensuring that equipment and work areas are clean and orderly at all times.
• Washing personal clothing required for resident.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or healthcare setting.
• A high school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish preferred.

• Is responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
• Is flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
• Can work under pressure and multi-task.
• Is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
• Demonstrates good verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
