Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Provide specialized patient care in a progressive care unit, focusing on intermediate and step-down units. Deliver high-quality nursing services to meet patient needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately and in real-time
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to any patient emergencies or changes in condition
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a step-down, intermediate, or progressive care unit
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment and critical thinking skills
  
  
• 
  Adapt well to a variable schedule, including early and evening shifts
  
  
• 
  Have experience working with IMC/PCU/Stepdown patient populations
