Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing EngineerQuench is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process design, optimization, and continuous improvement efforts within the refurbishment operation at our Grapevine, Texas facility. This role is responsible for owning refurbishment processes end to end, driving Lean implementation, and delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.The Manufacturing Engineer will serve as a technical leader on the shop floor, working closely with production, quality, and operations leadership to standardize work, eliminate waste, improve first pass yield, and increase throughput. This role requires the ability to operate independently, identify problems proactively, and execute solutions with minimal supervision. The position reports to the Director of Refurbishment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and continuously improve refurbishment processes for filtered water systems including bottle free water coolers, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers, and coffee brewersDesign and implement scalable, repeatable processes that improve safety, quality, throughput, and costLead Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S implementation, Kaizen events, value stream mapping, standard work, and Kanban systemsAnalyze production data to identify bottlenecks, yield losses, failure trends, and process variationDrive root cause analysis for quality and reliability issues and implement corrective and preventive actionsDevelop and maintain detailed work instructions, process documentation, visual standards, and training materialsTrain, coach, and support production teams on standard work and process changesPartner with quality, supply chain, and operations teams to support new product introductions, process changes, and issue resolutionAct as a technical point of contact for refurbishment related process decisions and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldTwo to five years of experience in a manufacturing or refurbishment environment with demonstrated ownership of process improvement initiativesStrong working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles including 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, Kanban, and standard workProven ability to identify problems, analyze data, and implement durable process improvementsComfortable working directly on the shop floor in a fast paced, hands-on environmentStrong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action and accountabilitySelf-motivated, disciplined, and capable of operating with minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data driven analysis toolsPhysical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and safely handle tools and equipment as requiredEqual Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
