Radiation Therapy Assistant - at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Assists clinical staff of the Radiation Oncology department to provide excellent and expedited patient care demonstrating our core values. The Radiation Therapy Assistant is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of patients and medical information within the department and assists RTTs, RNs, and physicians in scheduling, preparing for, performing, and documenting procedures, treatments, and exams. Preferred Qualifications: * Coursework/Training and Successfully completed formal education program at an accredited school of training for Medical Assistants or Nursing Assistants. * 2 years of Professional experience working in health care. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
