What You'll Do

As a Residential Manager, you will:

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple residential homes and ensure high-quality services are delivered to individuals supported.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, training, and performance management to Direct Support Professionals and Lead Direct Support Professionals.
• Ensure adequate staffing, scheduling, and coverage while maintaining compliance with budgetary expectations.
• Support individuals with daily living activities, personal care needs, medication management oversight, community participation, and achievement of personal goals.
• Monitor documentation, electronic health records, medication administration practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate medical appointments and health-related supports while ensuring continuity of care.
• Manage crisis situations with professionalism and ensure appropriate reporting, follow-up, and resolution.
• Conduct staff training, orientation, competency development, and ongoing coaching to support team success.
• Perform quality inspections, safety reviews, and audits to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Build positive relationships with families, healthcare providers, community partners, and other stakeholders while advocating for individuals served.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or related human services populations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage staff, schedules, documentation, and residential operations.

Preferred:

• Supervisory or management experience in a residential, human services, or group home setting.
• Experience with medication administration oversight.
• Knowledge of state licensing regulations and residential compliance requirements.
• CPR, First Aid, or other human services certifications.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Flexible schedule required to meet program needs.
• Some evening and weekend hours may be necessary.
• Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
• Must be available to respond to emergencies and operational needs as necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, climb stairs, and assist individuals as needed.
• Ability to drive and transport individuals when required.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
