Supervising Pediatric Therapist
The County of Marin is seeking a licensed and experienced Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to serve as the Supervising Pediatric Therapist. This leadership role oversees a dedicated team of 5.25 FTEincluding OTs, PTs, and a Therapy Aidewho collectively serve approximately 160 clients from birth to age 21.
Based at the Medical Therapy Unit at Marindale School in San Rafael, the Supervising Pediatric Therapist is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, supervision, and daily operations of the unit. In addition to administrative leadership, this role includes collaboration with school administrators, participation in statewide workgroups to advance best practices, and provision of direct clinical services as needed.
Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are highly desirable. Bilingual Testing/Certification: The successful candidate must possess bilingual skills and must demonstrate proficiency in both Spanish and and English prior to appointment. A bilingual proficiency exam will be administered to ensure the candidates possess the appropriate skill level to meet the requirements.
