Project Geotechnical EngineerALLWEST is a leading consulting firm specializing in engineering, environmental services, and construction materials testing. We're growing and looking for a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team across multiple locations in the Inland Northwest.ALLWEST's geotechnical engineering team tackles a wide variety of challenging projects throughout the Inland Northwest. This position will assist with a diverse blend of public and private projects, ranging in scope and technical complexity. Projects include foundation design for public and private structures, landslide stabilization, and transportation and roadway design. This opportunity provides a balance between applied problem solving, technical analysis, and design.What You'll Do:Lead geotechnical investigations and foundation design for public and private projects.Analyze ground conditions, slope stability, and seismic hazards.Prepare proposals, reports, and technical recommendations.Supervise and mentor junior engineers and field staff.Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.Collaborate with clients and attend project meetings.Support business development and participate in professional organizations.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering preferred).Registration as Professional Engineer in the states of Idaho and/or Washington within 30 days of employment, as well as maintain professional registrations in the state(s) in which they practice.5-10 years of geotechnical experienceStrong communication and leadership skillsPassion for solving complex engineering challengesLocationPosition may be in office or hybrid – office and work from home – as required to fulfill all Essential Duties and Responsibilities.ALLWEST BenefitsWe are proud to be a 100% employee-owned company, which means that strong company performance is rewarded to all members of our team.
