Adjunct Faculty – Finance Position Number: 765502 Work type: Temporary, part-time Location: Glassboro, New Jersey Position Description The Accounting and Finance Department is searching for adjunct instructors in finance. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in finance, primarily in a traditional classroom (in-person) format. Areas of instruction may include corporate finance, investments, financial planning and CFP-related topics, and FinTech, including digital assets, cryptocurrency and blockchain applications. Candidates who can integrate current industry practices, emerging financial technologies, and applied financial analysis into classroom instruction are especially encouraged to apply. Please note: fully online instructors need not apply. Qualifications Requirements include a Master’s in finance, MBA, or a closely related discipline. Candidates must have current professional experience, substantial in terms of duration and level of responsibility, which is linked to the fields of accounting or finance. Professional certification (e.g., CFP, CFA, FRM, CAIA) and daytime availability are advantageous. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position. Compensation In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
