The Maintenance Mechanic Technician is responsible to safely maintain, repair, replace and modify refrigeration equipment, water treatment and distribution system, hydraulic and air compressors with optimal quality and efficiency.Shift times: 11:30pm to 8:30am or 12am to 9pmDay to day Responsibilities:Installs, repairs, replaces, and performs preventative maintenance inspections on, but not limited to, refrigeration equipment, chilled water systems, hydraulics, wastewater systems and air compressors.knowledge of tools and equipment applicable to trade.Responds to emergency calls, evaluates situation, and takes corrective action.Work overtime when emergencies arise to prevent disruption of the facility.Maintains a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.Operate CMMS system and demonstrates competency.Effectively communicate with production and other mechanics to identify problematic areas of concern; provide and receive feedback and/or support through collection and analysis of information.Must demonstrate an understanding of the company's objectives including productivity, yields, food safety, quality, customer service and cost goals. Supports achieving those goals.Performs daily inspections, emergency repairs, and routine adjustments; follows periodic preventive maintenance schedule.
