As the sponsor of a Full-Stack Venture Capital Fund, we help fund and scale emerging companies while generating long-term value for investors. In addition to our investment activities, we operate FloridaAngels.Club Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to democratizing angel investing and supporting entrepreneurship throughout the Southeast United States. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Director of Marketing to help lead our marketing, branding, communications, and business development initiatives across the Capital QVentures ecosystem. Position Overview This is a leadership role for an experienced marketing professional who wants to build something meaningful. The Director of Marketing will work directly with the CEO and executive leadership team to support fund distribution efforts, venture capital syndications, portfolio company growth, public relations, event promotion, and membership expansion for FloridaAngels.Club. This is not a traditional corporate marketing role. We are looking for an entrepreneurial growth leader who thinks strategically, executes relentlessly, takes ownership, and is motivated by measurable results. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the future of Capital QVentures while building relationships with founders, CEOs, investors, wealth managers, family offices, and strategic partners. Key Responsibilities Fund Distribution & Capital Raising Develop and execute marketing campaigns supporting the Fund Distribution Team. Create investor-facing presentations, marketing materials, newsletters, white papers, and thought leadership content. Support outreach initiatives targeting wealth managers, RIAs, broker-dealers, family offices, and institutional investment platforms. Assist in strengthening Capital Q's visibility among industry to investment professionals and capital allocators. Track campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for growth. Capital QVelocity, Venture Capital & Portfolio Company Growth Serve as a key member of Capital QVelocity, the firm’s business accelerator and growth platform designed to provide strategic managerial assistance to portfolio companies. Collaborate directly with portfolio company founders and leadership teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives that support their fundraising, customer acquisition, brand awareness, and business growth. Assist portfolio companies in preparing marketing materials, investor communications, and presentations to support venture capital syndications and co-investment opportunities. Work alongside Capital QVelocity’s consulting, technology, finance, legal, and operational professionals to help portfolio companies achieve key growth milestones. Develop strategic communications campaigns that increase visibility for portfolio companies through digital marketing, public relations, media outreach, content development, and event participation. Support the creation of thought leadership, case studies, success stories, and portfolio company spotlight campaigns showcasing the impact of Capital QVelocity’s accelerator services. Coordinate with the Venture Capital Team for Investor Relations, to promote portfolio company funding rounds, strategic partnerships, customer growth initiatives, and major corporate milestones. FloridaAngels.Club Growth Lead membership acquisition and engagement initiatives. Promote pitch events, educational workshops, networking opportunities, and sponsorship programs. Develop strategies that increase awareness, participation, sponsorship revenue, and community engagement. Support relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, sponsors, and strategic partners. Brand Management & Communications Oversee Capital Qbrand consistency across all channels. Draft and help our outside PR firm to manage press releases, media announcements, executive communications, and marketing materials. Manage website content, social media presence, digital marketing initiatives, and content strategy. Support the development of video, podcast, and thought leadership content. Leadership & Growth Establish marketing KPIs, growth metrics, and reporting systems. Recommend and implement marketing technologies, automation tools, and growth strategies. Represent Capital QVentures, Capital QVelocity, and FloridaAngels.Club at conferences, investor events, networking functions, and portfolio company events. Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term growth initiatives and strategic priorities. Assist in recruiting, mentoring, and managing future marketing personnel as the organization expands. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field. 5 years of professional marketing experience. Demonstrated success driving measurable business growth through marketing initiatives. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency. Ability to communicate effectively with executives, investors, founders, and business leaders.
