This position is set in a climate-controlled office environment, allowing for a comfortable and efficient workspace. • Conduct thorough assessments and, when necessary, diagnoses of patients' mental health status, utilizing appropriate tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).

• Create individualized care plans that incorporate cultural diversity and address the unique needs of the patient population.

• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment interventions to align with the mental health diagnosis.

• Document and maintain accurate treatment records and clinical information in compliance with regulatory requirements, employing the latest technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop comprehensive treatment strategies aimed at achieving agreed-upon goals while ensuring safety and symptom management.

• Coordinate referrals to additional healthcare services, serving as a crucial liaison between patients and treatment providers to optimize care continuity.

• Engage in educating and mentoring students, interns, and volunteers, fostering an environment of shared knowledge and professional development.

• Participate in peer reviews, clinical collaborations, and chart audits as directed by clinical supervisors to support organizational growth.

This role primarily serves individuals and families impacted by cancer diagnoses, focusing on providing outpatient therapy that addresses the complex emotional and psychological needs of this unique demographic. You will be instrumental in offering support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions that facilitate coping and adjustment in challenging circumstances.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Proficiency in using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, reflecting experience and expertise.
