Plant Manager

About the Role We are hiring a Plant Manager for our Hosford Oriented Strand Board (OSB) facility in Hosford, FL. The role requires leading operational excellence, driving continuous improvement in safety, productivity, cost, and customer experience while fostering a collaborative workplace based on our Principle Based Management culture. Responsibilities Align operations with the business vision and maintain a high level of performance in safety and environmental compliance. Lead the overall operation of the facility, from receipt of raw materials to shipment of finished OSB to market. Set and enforce production scheduling, inventory control, operating rate, fiber recovery, and facility financial performance expectations. Proactively manage costs by reviewing facility expenses and holding department leaders accountable. Create a culture that drives ownership and eliminates waste. Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable state, federal, and local laws. Maintain productive relationships with peers in support functions. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive operational leadership. Demonstrated track record in leading profitable change and holding the organization accountable. Experience in budgeting and expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices. Experience building and developing high‑performing teams. Experience with capital project engineering or management. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Wood Science, or a related field. Progressive leadership experience in a wood products facility in roles such as Plant Manager, Production Manager, Plant Superintendent, Reliability or Maintenance Manager. Continuous improvement project management experience. Experience within the Wood Products Industry.
